Monoprint & Woodblock Lettering Workshop 8-12 Years

Monoprinting is an ideal activity for all ages as it does not require previous experience and most importantly, encourages children to exercise their own imagination and make individual creative choices in order to produce their own unique handmade prints. Children will select their own
textured materials and papers cut into an array of different shapes before inking them up with a
variety of brightly coloured inks– the sky’s the limit!

Children will also be encouraged to ‘spell it out’ by incorporating woodblock lettering into their prints. Limerick Printmakers highly experienced team will assist the group with every step and each child will leave the workshop with their very own unique handmade print!

Cupcake Decorating

Learn how to put on buttercream, roll and cut out fondant into shapes and leave with 2 fully
decorated cupcakes stored in 2 individual plastic cupcake pods, with Michelle Reynolds.

Silkscreen Printing

Come and print up a storm! Limerick Printmakers will be on hand to assist everyone in printing their very own tote bag using Limerick Printmaker’s mobile silkscreen press.
All ages and abilities can join in and create a print.

Samhain and The Parade Of Light

Performed by Clown Noir, Cloughjordan Circus Club & Nenagh Youth Theatre

Join us to celebrate Samhain with a Parade of Light

Beginning with a light parade of lanterns made by pupils in local primary schools, this vibrant
procession through the streets of Nenagh will be led by a Druid riding on a majestic stag followed by a troupe of drummers and Celtic warriors.
At the end of the parade, they will reenact a tale as old as time itself… a young couple is reunited for one night only, by the magic of Samhain, when spirits join the living and celebrate through traditional music, song and dance.
