The Nenagh Players Present : The Salvage Shop, Saturday 8th March, 8pm, €18/€20.
The Salvage Shop is set in the fictional seaside town of Garris. It centres on the strained relationship between Sylvie, an alcoholic bandmaster and opera enthusiast who runs the salvage shop, and his son Eddie, a euphonium player who left the band years ago.
Eddie seeks reconciliation with his father, invoking the spirit of Luciano Pavarotti to bridge the gap between them. The play explores themes of redemption, forgiveness and the healing power of music within a family and community.
