Join us on April 30th for a screening of Frank’s Road, a short documentary film by Nenagh native Eamonn Dillon. Frank’s Road competed at the Art of Recovery Film Festival in Florida last November where it won the award for Best Documentary Short.
The film tells the inspirational life story of Frank Buckley, a seemingly mild-mannered tour bus driver from Dublin who has more about him than initially meets the eye. The story focuses on how Frank repeatedly overcame his struggles with substance abuse in order to rebuild his life from scratch time and time again.
As well as Frank’s Road, the screening night will feature some of Eamonn’s earlier films as a curtain raiser.
