For Spleodar 2020 we are putting together a Halloween themed Junk Punk Rock Band and we need you to be the stars of the show. Working together with musician Andy Spearpoint you will create a ghastly piece of music to be recorded, filmed and broadcast for Spleodar 2020 at the end of October. It will be loud, strange and wonderful.
Here’s how it goes:
You will be given an instrument to take home and drive your family nuts with. It will be made from a variety of upcycled materials, will sound great, look weird and be easy to play!
We will meet via Zoom to come up with a theme, share ideas and start the process of creating a piece of music.
You will work at home, supported by Youtube videos and a couple more group Zoom sessions to create and practice your parts and share ideas.
We will have a recording day at the Arts Centre where we will record and film together in small groups. Costume maybe involved. Ghoulishness may be involved. The whole thing will be edited together and broadcast on October 30th for Spleodar.
- Are you aged between 8 and 14?
- Are you available on Saturday 26th September and Saturday 17th October to come to the Arts Centre?
- Can you do 3 Wednesday evening Zoom sessions between those dates?
